You approve invoices for time you cannot see. The usual answer is monitoring software, and it proves nothing: screenshots are easy to fake, and your contractors resent them. tenby10 gives you a link that proves the hours are real. It never shows you anyone's screen, and your contractor can be set up the same day.

Most contractors have never been asked for this. Send them the wording below and they can be set up the same day. The record stays theirs: they set it up on their own machine, they share the link, and they can revoke it. You get proof, not control.
Asking for this is not the same as asking to watch them. There is no screen capture in the product at all, so nobody has to agree to being monitored to say yes.

Each hour is cryptographically signed and hash-chained on the contractor’s machine, then checked by tenby10 as it arrives. Once an hour is sent, any changed copy of it is refused.
No screenshots, no keystrokes, no window contents ever reach you or tenby10. You get signed hour totals and a plain-language summary, not a recording of a private screen.
The software that produces the proof is source-available and independently auditable. You don’t have to take our word for it, or the contractor’s.
To be precise: the proof attests that these activity records were signed at the time on the contractor's enrolled device and have not been altered since. Not that a specific person performed the work, and not that the software producing them was unmodified. It replaces forgeable screenshots and timesheets, not your judgment.
Ask the company that runs the team to start a pilot. Their people keep their screens, and you get a link to every person's hours.
